Weekly Update: A Very Merry Eurovision Month

So it’s May in a few days and there is so much to discuss! This post is more a quick overview of what’s hopefully to come here and around the fandom in the coming “busy” period.

Quick News Briefing

  • First Rehearsals For Semi-Final One (First Half) Are Today

What To Expect On ESC Essence (escessence.com)

Obviously there is a lot going on now, so you can expect the site to be busy. Personally, I am watching Eurovision with family this year so I am once again reporting from my desk in (not quite so sunny) Scotland. However, having access to all my home equipment means you can expect a fair bit of coverage on the site (yay)!

  • Twitter Spaces: Recorded twitter spaces on my initial reactions to rehearsal releases – feel free to discuss with me, check out twitter here
  • YouTube: Regular YouTube uploads (both on ESC 2022 and Eurovision in general)
  • Predictions: It wouldn’t be the Eurovision season without them!
  • Commentary Articles: For basically once I’ve processed everything
  • Discord: I’ll try and get the party going there… maybe! Join our discord server here
  • And more: Whatever I can fit in, you can be sure you have my attention!

Where To Head For Even More Eurovision Content

But obviously that isn’t enough, this is Eurovision and there is one of me! For that obviously check out the ESC website for the releases (and see if your reactions are like mine). There will also be so much content from all the fan-sites (both accredited and unaccredited) over the week. Many have their own unique takes so if you are looking for a particular piece of content – hopefully its out there.

And if you still can’t find what you are looking for, please just ask, I’m happy to take suggestions for the blog!

Enjoy Eurovision

And in the madness don’t forget to take time for yourself, breathe and enjoy the month! Many thanks for visiting ESC Essence.
